Carbon-composite quad platform tuned for tight formation flight, with propeller guards and redundant ESCs.
Technology
LightX is an engineering company that happens to make art. We own the whole stack β hardware, firmware, choreography software and ground operations β so nothing about your show depends on a third-party supplier.

The stack
Each module is developed and maintained by our own team, and iterated after every production.

Carbon-composite quad platform tuned for tight formation flight, with propeller guards and redundant ESCs.

High-output RGBW module with a 16-million-colour range, per-frame dimming curves and a diffuser profile that stays crisp from 50 metres to 2 kilometres.

Our own choreography and flight-management suite paired with a ruggedised ground station: collision-free path solving, live telemetry for every aircraft, RTK positioning, geofenced volumes and one-key return-to-land.

Before a single drone is unpacked, our pilots walk the site wearing AR goggles that project the launch grid onto the real terrain β so every aircraft's slot is placed, checked and cleared in augmented reality.
Compliance & safety
We hold every permit required to stage a drone show, and each deployment is led by an experienced team β from equipment setup to the final landing.

We operate under the EU-wide EASA framework for unmanned aircraft, using certified equipment manufactured in Europe.

Our pilots are professionally trained and certified by the national civil aviation authority, with operational authorisations in place for every show.

Airspace requests, reservations and NOTAM coordination are filed through the AMC portal before every deployment.
